With winter upon us, it is cold bit season. A too cold bit can cause damage to the mucosa in your horse's mouth and not to mention create bridling and biting issues. 

The Bit Warmer is used to warm up a horses bit before riding. Simply pop your bit warmer in the microwave for around 30-60 seconds and then fasten around your bit with the velcro strips. 

Test the temperature of your bit before putting the bridle on (think baby bottle test on your wrist), it should be the same temperature as your skin.
